Product Description

Investment casting is a proven near net shape manufacturing technique relying on the lost wax principle. Wax patterns are created first, then coated with multi layer refractory shells. After wax melting out, molten metal fills the hollow shell moulds to form finished castings.

This process excels at manufacturing intricate, thin wall and irregular shaped components that other casting methods struggle to achieve. It delivers good dimensional consistency and smooth surface quality, greatly cutting down material waste and post processing workload.

Multiple material options are accessible, including various stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel and copper based alloys. Different shell making routes can be selected according to project requirements: silica sol process for higher precision performance, and water glass process for cost efficient mass production.
